Credits for this walkthrough are at the end of the page. Start Of The Game The start of the game is kind of similar to the one in Diamond and pearl. Giratina and some other characters are shown in the title screen. Selecting a new Game When selecting the new game button, everything is kind of similar to Diamond and Pearl. Professor Rowan explains about the world of Pokemon, showing you a buneary (in DP, Professor Rowan showed you a Munchlax, now a buneary) You select your gender (Male or female) then write your name. You will also be asked to give your rival a name. Starting Your Journey 
Ok, now it's time to start your journey ^-^ Instead of being asked from your rival to go to and find the red gyrados, the news report shows you that Professor Rowan has returned from the Kanto Region. Your rival also asks you to go get your first starter Pokemon. Meeting the Professor 
You meet the professor near the lake. He will talk to you a bit about Pokemon. Your other rival (if you picked the male, the female comes. If you picked the female, the male comes) Approaches you and the Professor. Your second rival brings a suitcase, which, obviously, belongs to Professor Rowan. Professor Rowan then offers you and your rival to pick your starter Pokemon. Whatever Pokemon you pick, your rival will pick the Pokemon that can beat it easily (however, that doesn't mean you can't win against him). You then play a battle against your rival. The start of your journey - Chapter 1 
After defeating your rival, you are sent back home. Your mother will then give you your running shows. Now, you can start your journey ^-^ When exiting Twinleaf town, your rival appears and takes you to lake Valor, obviously wanting you to got to Lake Valor with him. Your rival wants to catch Mesprit. When entering the lake, Cyrus is standing in the grass area, saying something about Mesprit. He then exits. Then, you hear Mesprit's cry! Your rival suddenly realizes he has no Pokeballs, so he runs off somewhere. Arriving at Sandgem Finally, you've reached the first place other than Twinleaf ^-^ However, your second rival stops you and takes you to Professor Rowan's lab. Before entering, your rival comes out and talks about something then goes off. Your second rival then takes you to see Professor Rowan. Professor Rowan examines your Pokemon and finds out it likes you, so he gives you the Pokedex. Now, the real journey will begin =] More Information soon...
